10 Stylish Ways to Organize Toys
An easy and stylish way to organize toys is by putting them in bins. You can keep the bins free standing by themselves, or you can slip them onto shelves and bookcases, whatever you think works best.
Cubbies are a great way to organize toys, simply put them in canvas bins! This looks really great, plus it makes accessing the stores and storing them away really easy. No messy with doors, handles, or anything like that.
If your kids have a bunch of toy cars, then storing them can be a nightmare. An awesome way that I’ve found works great is by using magnetic strips. Simply apply the magnets to a shelf, and then put the cars on there! They stay (if the cars have metal on them) and can easily be grabbed whenever.
Get kid furniture that has built in storage on the inside. That could be a chair, desk, table, or anything else really. With storage inside the furniture, it saves you tons of space, which makes thing more organized.
Wire crates attached to the walls are perfect for organization! Keep them low so your kids can still reach them, but high enough that they won’t bonk their knees or feet on them.
A super easy way to store your toys and make things look organized is putting them behind a cute curtain! Simply stick the toys behind it and then pull the curtain shut! Voila, no more mess!
You can also make or buy a cute storage locker that can be used to keep toys organized. I love this giant Lego locker that opens to get all the toys inside.
Hanging buckets are great for storing toys inside or outside, whatever you’re looking for. Your kids can just pull the buckets right off the slats, if you want, or you can permanently attach them so they don’t come off.
If your kids have favorite or specific toys that they like to play with, then consider organizing their toys by child. This creates a sense of responsibility, because each child will be in charge of making sure their own toys are put away and cared for.
For crayons, markers, and other art supplies, use cookie jars to store them! They don’t take up space, which is nice, and they’re clear so you can know exactly what’s inside each one.
