Pull out or fold out drying racks are a life saver in a small laundry room. They allow you to save space but also dry your things that can’t go in the dryer. They’re a must have.
Opening shelving actually helps you stay a lot more organized (and less stressed) because you don’t have to spend time opening drawers all the time, and they take up less space.
If you’re able, a laundry chute is super helpful! Instead of going around all the rooms to collect laundry, you just put a laundry chute above the laundry room where everyone can throw their clothes down. Way easier and keeps all the dirty clothes in one spot.
In the laundry room, use up as much vertical space as possible. Even if you have to have a small footstool, it’s worth it. Vertical space means more places to store things, making your laundry room more organized.
If you have the room, install a counter in your laundry room. It makes folding clothes SO MUCH easier, plus you can store things on it for easy access.
