Make sure you clean your windows when it’s not too hot or too overcast. If you try to wash your windows when it’s really hot out it will dry up your cleaning solution and make your windows look like they are still covered in residue. If it’s overcast and starts to rain when you are cleaning, then all your hard work will be ruined.
Use a microfiber towel when you are cleaning windows. This is used by the pros! It will soak up all the water without leaving any fuzzes behind on your windows. This is the best way to get them dry and looking their best!
Use a squeegee when you wash your windows. Squeegees will wick away the water and solution a lot faster and more efficiently. It will get off anything, without leaving anything behind like smudges as you go.
Remove your window frame so you can clean the track underneath! The tracks get so dirty over time so it’s important not to forget them as you clean. Having clean tracks will make a huge difference to your windows overall. They aren’t too hard to remove or put back on, and it’s definitely worth it.
When you are finished cleaning your windows, apply a coat of some Rain-x. This will help your windows stay cleaner for a lot longer and the rain will roll right off them rather than leaving lots of water spots on your newly washed windows.
